Best Wedding Photo Sharing Apps in 2026

Every app here does the same core job: guests scan a QR code and upload the photos they took to your album, without installing anything. What actually differs is price, whether uploads are unlimited, how long the gallery stays open, and whether video is included.

How to choose a wedding photo sharing app

Your photographer captures a fraction of the day. The rest — the table your friends were at, the dance floor at midnight, the moment nobody with a camera saw — lives on your guests' phones and usually never reaches you. These apps exist to close that gap.

Five questions separate them:

  • Does a guest need to install an app or create an account? (In every tool below, no — QR code and browser is enough. Treat "download our app" as a red flag: older guests drop out.)
  • Is the upload limit unlimited, or capped at a number of photos?
  • How long does the gallery stay open — 90 days, 6 months, or a year?
  • Is video included, or locked behind the top tier?
  • Is it a one-time payment or a subscription? (All of the tools below are one-time per event.)

The apps, with real 2026 prices

OrtakAlan — Turkey-based. A free tier (25 photos or videos, 7 days, no credit card) and two one-time plans: 899 TL for 250 uploads and 1.799 TL for unlimited photos and video, both with a full year of gallery access. At current rates that is roughly $21 and $42, which makes the unlimited plan the cheapest unlimited option in this list. Video upload is included on every plan, including the free one. The interface and support are in Turkish — worth knowing before you buy.

GuestCam — $49 (Standard) or $97 (Premium), one time. Unlimited guests, photos and videos, plus an audio guestbook where guests leave voice messages. Standard gives a 6-month upload window and 12-month storage; Premium extends this to 12 and 14 months and adds six galleries and themes. No free plan. MagicFind, the selfie-based "find photos of me" feature, is a $45 add-on.

Guestpix — from $49, one time, with unlimited guest uploads and the gallery hosted for 12 months from your event date. Video upload is supported and guests go straight to the gallery from a QR code with no sign-up.

Wedibox — free to start with the first 50 guest uploads, custom QR code and shareable link, no credit card. A single $49 one-time upgrade unlocks unlimited photo and video uploads, audio guestbook, live slideshow and original-quality ZIP download, with a 12-month upload window.

Kululu — $39 to $99 per event. The free plan is capped at 50 uploads and expires after 24 hours. Its distinguishing feature is AI face recognition that sorts photos by guest, alongside live slideshows, text posts, theming and moderation.

WedUploader — $24 to $69. Different model: uploads land in your own Google Drive, originals preserved uncompressed, with no storage cap and no expiry countdown. If you care about keeping the raw files forever rather than a hosted gallery, this is the closest fit.

Fotify — $29.99 or $49.99 per event, priced in US dollars. The $29.99 tier gives unlimited photos but only 90 days of gallery access and no video. Video requires the $49.99 tier and is capped at 30 seconds per clip. Free plan: 50 photos, 7 days.

Which one fits your wedding?

If you want unlimited uploads at the lowest price: OrtakAlan's 1.799 TL plan (~$42) covers unlimited photos and video with a year of access — under the $49 that GuestCam, Guestpix and Wedibox each charge for their unlimited tiers.

If you want to try before paying: Wedibox (50 uploads free) and OrtakAlan (25 uploads free, 7 days, no card) both let you run a real test with real guests. Kululu's free tier expires 24 hours after you start it, which is too short to prepare with.

If you want the files, not a gallery: WedUploader puts originals into your own Google Drive with no expiry, starting at $24.

If you want extras: GuestCam's audio guestbook and Kululu's AI face sorting are genuinely different features, and you pay for them.

A note on currency: Fotify prices in US dollars even when you are outside the US, so your total moves with the exchange rate. Turkish Lira pricing is fixed at purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do wedding guests need to download an app to share photos?

No. Every tool compared here works from the phone camera: the guest scans a QR code, a page opens in the browser, and they pick photos or videos from their gallery. No account, no install. This matters more than it sounds — apps that require a download lose the older half of your guest list.

What is the cheapest unlimited wedding photo app?

As of August 2026, OrtakAlan's 1.799 TL plan (roughly $42) is the lowest-priced unlimited option here, covering unlimited photos and video with one year of gallery access. GuestCam, Guestpix and Wedibox each start at $49 for their unlimited tiers.

Can guests upload videos, not just photos?

Mostly yes, but check the tier. OrtakAlan, GuestCam, Guestpix, Kululu and WedUploader include video. Wedibox includes it on the paid plan. Fotify restricts video to its $49.99 tier and caps each clip at 30 seconds.

How long can guests keep uploading after the wedding?

It varies a lot: 90 days on Fotify's entry plan, 6 months on GuestCam Standard, and 12 months on Guestpix, Wedibox, GuestCam Premium and OrtakAlan. WedUploader has no expiry because the files go into your own Google Drive.

Is OrtakAlan usable if I do not speak Turkish?

The guest upload flow is simple enough to follow visually — scan, select, upload — but the interface and customer support are in Turkish. If you are planning a wedding in Turkey or have Turkish-speaking family managing the album, it is a strong fit; otherwise one of the English-language tools above will be more comfortable.
